The advent of the digital era has significantly changed how libraries function and connect with their users. Libraries, taking on the role of the book bot in this digital era, face various constraints and challenges. Limited access to digital resources, copyright and licensing issues, and privacy concerns pose obstacles to their seamless operation. Additionally, the digital divide and financial constraints impact the breadth of their reach and services. However, despite these constraints, libraries hold excellent prospects as the book bot of the digital era. These prospects include expanded access to information, enhanced user experiences, collaboration opportunities, and the preservation of knowledge in digital formats. Moreover, libraries can actively engage with their communities, promote lifelong learning, and advocate for equitable access to information. By leveraging technology, libraries embrace innovation, adapt to changing user expectations, and ensure the preservation of cultural heritage. In conclusion, libraries as the book bot of the digital era embody resilience, inclusivity, and intellectual freedom, serving as indispensable pillars of society that provide an enriched and transformative.

The Deviant Features of Trade Advertising Register in Arabic

Arabic, like all the world languages, has different regional varieties (dialects). Ferguson puts such dialects under the term LOW VARIETY of a language. They, to some extent, differ from the standard language (HIGH VARIETY) in the sense that the High variety, linguistically, maintains the rules and the system of the language, while the Low variety works otherwise i.e., it deviates from the standard language model. Similarly, in the field of professional languages, each profession has its own register that contains some linguistic items which have no formula in the standard variety of the language. The language of advertising, for example, deviates from the standard language. It has fore-grounded linguistic features and carries a style of language characterized by being persuasive and attractive. This specialized variety has evoked a great interest among linguists. They leave no stone unturned to formulate a systematic and scientific model for this highly idiosyncratic use of language. The advertisers when making their advertising intend to create an oddity in the language of their profession. In this paper, I collected some planned linguistic deviations in the written form of trade advertising in Arabic. These advertising expressions are analyzed at different linguistic levels; namely, phonological, morphological, syntactical and semantical. This study aims to throw lights on: 1- How the language of trade advertising in Arabic is constructed. 2- The extent in which the trade advertising variety in Arabic is different from the standard variety. 3- The purpose and role of inviting the trade advertising register. 4- Whether we can use the register of trade advertising in any other register.
