1 – What is an Oval face shape?
An oval face shape describes a person whose forehead is slightly wider than their jawline.
The jawline is typically rounded and soft rather than being sharp and defined.

So how does an oval face age?
An oval face shows the earliest signs of aging around the eye and cheek area. Creasing occurs around the eyes called crows feet and upper eyelid hooding can occur.
There is usually loss of volume and definition from the cheeks which can lead to a hollow and tired looking face.
The temple area can also hollow due to a loss of fat.
2 – What is a round face shape?
A round face shape will be equal in length as it would be in width and is very circular. They are most likely to have very full cheeks.
Round faces are known to be soft and curved with no harsh and angular edges. For example, Jennifer Lawrence is known to have a round face.
How does a round faces age?
Round faces tend to age very well compared to other face shapes due to the fact they store a lot of fat in the cheek area. This can keep you looking younger for longer than those who lose fat quicker.
This means that a gaunt and dull complexion takes longer to develop.
However, if you do not look after your skin then your cheeks can lose volume just like any other face shape and your nasolabial folds (smile lines) can become more pronounced.
3 – How does a square face look?
A square face has a length and width that are similar in size, just like a round face, yet it is more angular.

How does a square shape face age?
As the face is more well-structured it means that aging takes longer to rear its head.
Sagging and slackness takes longer to show up than on other face shapes.
4 – What does a heart shaped face look like?
A heart shaped face has a wide forehead and then narrows down towards the jawline.
The chin tapers to form a delicate little point.
How does a heart shaped face age?
A heart shaped face tends to lose a lot of elasticity and support in the upper half of their face. This refers to the forehead and the brow bone.
Wrinkles also tend to be common, especially hooded eyelids and fine lines.
