Resilience is not just about bouncing back from major life challenges; rather, resilience means you can manage the daily stressors of life, like a difficult day at work, a tough conversation with a friend or loved one, or a failure or setback in your career. It is about the ability to capitalize on opportunity–to take calculated risks because we are not afraid of failure. Only then, can we truly flourish, be the best version of ourselves and reach our potential.

RESILIENCE is a process that requires adoption of productive behaviors, thoughts, and actions that can be learned. Resilience prepares you to deal with life’s challenges by giving you the ability to cope with adversity, adapt to change and thrive under new conditions.

Five Dimensions of Personal Readiness

Resilience drives personal readiness. To sustain personal readiness, we must understand the relationship among its five dimensions, sometimes called the five pillars: physical, emotional, social, spiritual and family. Master Resilience Training

The Master Resilience Training Course (MRTC) provides Soldiers with an opportunity to enhance their leadership and effectiveness and to learn how to teach resilience skills to Soldiers, Family members and DA Civilians.
