Keepsakes are items that can be equipped to obtain some sort of benefit during a run. They are acquired by giving Nectar to various characters for the first time. Zagreus can equip Keepsakes from the display case in the Courtyard.
A keepsake can be equipped in the display case in the courtyard before a run. Access to a keepsake display case between regions can be purchased from the House Contractor.
Forging a bond will show up in the keepsake display case with a small icon and a message about the bond Zagreus and the character share.
Some characters give you Companions (also known as Legendary Keepsakes). They are acquired by giving Ambrosia to that character after completing a quest for them.
Old Spiked Collar
From Cerberus; you share a ferocious bond.

- Infernal Trove fights do not give credit.
- The only Temple of Styx rooms that give credit are the final Encounter of a Satyr Tunnel.
- Losing life to a curse of Chaos does not affect this keepsake.
Bone Hourglass

- Unequipping the Bone Hourglass does not remove the extended duration on items already purchased.
Chthonic Coin Purse

- The Chthonic Coin Purse can be safely removed with no gold penalty.
- Boons that increase the amount of gold Zagreus receives do not affect this keepsake.

- The resurrection effect from Lucky Tooth will be consumed after all Death Defiance effects have been exhausted.
- Lucky Tooth essentially functions as a bonus Death Defiance:
- Stubborn Roots will not regenerate health while the player still has the extra life given by Lucky Tooth.
- The Kiss of Styx offered by Patroclus in Elysium will recharge a spent Lucky Tooth with a regular Death Defiance charge

- While equipped, a circular timer is visible over keepsake's icon. This indicates time left to clear the room and earn the bonus.
- The amount of time the keepsake gives to clear an encounter varies from room to room.
- Infernal Trove fights do not give credit.
- The only Temple of Styx rooms that give credit are the final Encounter of each Satyr Tunnel.
- Survival Encounters do give credit, despite the Lambent Plume not appearing to be active.
- Wearing the Plume unlocks access to Rush Delivery, Greater Recall and Bad News without needing the prerequisite Boons.

Pom Blossom

- Infernal Trove fights do not count toward Pom Blossom's Boon levels.
- Individual chambers of each Satyr Tunnel in the Temple of Styx do count for Pom Blossom.
- Pom Blossom is not affected by Sweet Nectar.
- Boon levels gained while the Pom Blossom is equipped will not be removed if the keepsake is unequipped.
Sigil of the Dead
Stealth Damage Bonus:
+50/75/100%
The feared and distant Underworld King knows that his hardest work is still ahead of him.
- Hades' Aid counts as a boon and can be upgraded, but maxes out at Epic rarity.
- The Sigil of the Dead cannot be equipped if another god's Aid has been chosen.
- While Invisible, Zagreus cannot be targeted, moves faster, and deals bonus damage for 2 seconds (or until he strikes).
- At Max Gauge, Zagreus turns Unseen instead of Invisible, increasing bonus damage to 5 seconds and not expiring when Zagreus strikes.
- Activating the Call while under the effects of Styx Poison removes the effect. It also removes Hades' Skull Casts from the ground, but not the Boiling Blood debuff.
- The Sigil is one of two Keepsakes that can only be acquired after finishing the main story, the other being the Pom Blossom.
