Insect Glaive Features & Overview
Fast & High Mobility Weapon
The Insect Glaive is a staff that is used by Hunters to deal a flurry of attacks. It is also highly customizable due to the large number of different Kinsects that you equip to it.
Can Launch You Up In the Air
The Kinsect Glaive is also unique due to the fact that it allows the hunter using it to jump up into the air. This is extra handy for mounting monsters as it is easy for you to land jump attacks, making you mount the monster more often!

This is a must-have for any Insect Glaive user. Since the usage of the Insect Glaive relies heavily on the bonuses that your Kinsect provides, equip this skill to prolong the effects before having to use your Kinsect again!

Increase Affinity Rate

Increase Affinity By Up To 50%
Attacking a monster's weak spot will increase your affinity rate. At the third level, it will increase it by up to 50%, making it a highly recommended skill!
Critical Boost

Further Increase DPS

When a monster becomes enraged, you will deal more damage. This is useful as a monster may become more aggressive when enraged. This will allow you to still have an advantage during this phase of a hunt!

Prevent Getting Hit Mid-air
There may be times when a monster will suddenly hit you while you are trying to mount it. This skill will prevent accidental hits from knocking you back while in mid-air so you still have a chance to mount the monster.

Use The Roar To Your Advantage
