After capturing 1A state championships the previous two seasons, Van Meter jumped up a class in 2023. The Bulldogs didn’t flinch, winning another crown this fall. They topped defending 2A champ Central Lyon/George-Little Rock in the title game.

Ries was all-state level on both sides of the ball. He threw for 24 touchdowns and rushed into the end zone 33 times in ’23.

Ben Gordon Ben Gordon 6'0" | 170 lbs | RB Van Meter | 2024 IA , ’24, Van Meter
The recent Northern Iowa commitment finished up an excellent career with senior campaign that saw him tied for the 2A lead with 2,181 rushing yards.
Adrien Robbins Adrien Robbins 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB PCM | 2025 State IA , ’25, PCM
Robbins shared the 2A rushing title with Gordon. The junior added 24 touchdowns on the ground.

Schilling was the proud recipient of Ries’ throws, leading 1A with 1,109 yards to go with 14 touchdowns.

Stecker tied Schilling for the class lead in scoring receptions and ranked second in receiving yards (994).

Jensen piled up 61.0 tackles (47 solo, 15.5 TFL) with 4.0 sacks.
