How long is the treatment?
The professional treatment session usually lasts about 45-60 minutes. We will consult with you about the process beforehand. During the appointment, prescription strength gel is applied to the enamel, avoiding the gum area and lips. Each session can lighten teeth 2-6 shades whiter. Results are seen instantly.
Do I do anything before I come?
It is best to brush your teeth before your appointment. After your appointment, it is important to avoid coffee, red wine, red pasta sauces, and any other dark staining foods for 24 hours as the teeth continue to process and brighten.
How often can you whiten your teeth?
Depending on how white you want your teeth and how stained they are (which depends on how much coffee and red wine you drink etc.) you can start with 2 sessions and add additional sessions as needed for extra whitening power. We will give you a consultation and put together a plan that will work best for you.
How is this different than over the counter options?
