Hello,
I am really enjoying the app and widget on my phone. The best feature is the ability to flip through the different forecast models. I can see paying for the premium membership.
However, my one issue keeping me from subscribing is that the current temperature in the app is displaying about 7 degrees lower than what the actual temperature outside is. I'm comparing both to an actual thermometer, and what local weather stations are saying. Also, in the app and widget, the forecast high for each day is 7-10 degrees lower than what it should be when comparing to NOAA or other weather apps. I'm using "My Current Location" in the app to determine what weather and temperature to display in the widget. When opening the app, it is showing a location about 5 miles from my house as the crow flies. Is the gps location the issue? Are there not enough weather stations locally? Or, is the app showing me model temperature data instead of an actual reading? Thanks!

Yes, temperatures shown by Windy are those predicted by the model your have chosen, but not actual reading from weather stations.
If you have set GPS for positioning your location, you need to enable windy to get this information. See your device settings.
But the best for a precise position is to save your location as a Favorite by clicking on the small heart near the search bar.
Then in Start-up location choose this favorite.
May we know what is your location to see the reason of these lower temperatures ?

@dtybor In addition to @idefix37, did you try other weather models in the app?

Thanks for the help on location. However, via GPS, the widget tells me I live in "Indian Mountain, CO" when I live in "Golden, CO" I have no idea where Indian Mountain CO is, but the forecast is 5-10 degrees colder than where I live. Also, is there an actual way to see weather station temp? The model temp is not very helpful in real time.

Have you tried several models to see which is the best one for temperature prediction at your location?
Nearest weather stations are shown just above the local forecast panel.
