A legal battle is ongoing over the Michael Jackson estate. Managers of the estate, John Branca and John McClain, filed a motion seeking approval to sell a 50% share of the King of Pop's music catalogue for an eye-watering $900 million (£742.8m).
Branca and McClain described the sale as a "substantial advantage of the estate and in the best interest of the beneficiaries".However,Katherine clearlydisagreed as she attempted to block the juggernaut sale for unknown reasons.
The court has since ruled in favour of Branca and McClain, though Katherine has reportedly filed an appeal, so the battle isn't over just yet...
Katherine Jackson: Mediterranean-style mansion
Katherine used her money from Michael Jackson's estate to snap up a property in the star-studded Calabasas area of California in2014.The familyhad previously rented the Mediterranean-style mansion for $26,000 (£20.6k) per month before Katherine purchased it for a hefty$10.75 million (£6.5m).
The lavish 12,670 square foot abode boasts a variety of standout features, including a home theatre, sauna, library, swimming pool, spa, and its very own bar.

Rebbie Jackson

Randy filed for bankruptcy in 1996. To make matters worse, he was charged with bankruptcy fraud in 2001 after it was discovered he'd failed to list a $21,000 (£13.5k) sports car as an asset in his 1996 filing. But he once again managed to avoid jail time.

Born 16 May 1966, Janet is the youngest Jackson sibling, and she originally rose to fame starring in TV show The Jacksons.

As we've mentioned, a 40% share in the Michael Jackson estate went to Michael's mother Katherine following his untimely death in2009.
