The wedding of Gabrielle Adler and Adam Weiss was held on June 4, 2011 in beautiful Los Angeles, California. The pair exchanged vows beneath a stunning chuppah adorned with a vivid blend of flowers in shades of indigo, violet, and dusty rose. To create their elegant, black-tie garden ceremony, low arrangements of periwinkle hydrangea were placed on either side of a snowy aisle that had been sprinkled with hot-pink petals. While the pair shared their first kiss as husband and wife, lavender confetti rained down upon them in a flurry of color and celebration.
The elated bride looked stunning in a timeless ivory gown, her hair fastened into a partial updo with long ringlets framing her face. She carried a grand bouquet of peonies in fuchsia. The stems of the bouquet were wrapped in a wide silk ribbon adorned with sparkling crystals. The dapper groom donned a classic black tuxedo with a single white flower in the lapel.
Following the couple's ceremony, guests enjoyed Champagne and co*cktails before entering the ballroom of the luxury hotel for the reception. Florals in shades of purple and pink elevated the color palette. Each place setting featured a metallic gold charger plate, a richly hued napkin, and a single orchid atop the dinner menu. Multiple centerpiece designs in varying heights featured an array of blooms. A dance floor featuring the couple’s monogram was situated in the center of the room in front of a large stage. Overhead, colorful Chinese paper lanterns served as a festive decoration.
In addition to the couple’s beautiful wedding cake, guests had the option of selecting one of two desserts served at the conclusion of a scrumptious dinner: tiramisu with a custom chocolate high-heel decoration in honor of the bride; and cheesecake with fresh berries served in a mini-Yankee baseball helmet representing the groom. The couple offered cookies that were fashioned after political symbols as favors to represent Washington DC, the city where they met and currently work.
