Which keepsake to choose in Elden Ring? ›

The best starting Keepsake items. Our recommendation for the best starting Keepsake is a Golden Seed. This will give you an extra Flask use - either to restore your HP or FP - and at the start of the game, survivability is paramount.

Pom Blossom is a Keepsake that levels up a random Boon each time Zagreus survives a certain number of encounters. It is obtained by escaping 10 times and then giving Persephone a gift of Nectar in the House of Hades. Its effects can be enhanced by clearing enough encounters with the keepsake equipped.

After players begin creating a character, they will need to choose a keepsake for their Prophet. The best keepsake to choose for any class in Elden Ring is the Golden Seed. Players can bring Golden Seeds to Sites of Grace in exchange for extra flasks.

Legendary Keepsakes. The Legendary Keepsakes are adorable plushies that are gifted to Zagreus by characters who have formed a really close bond with him. To acquire these, you need to complete a favor for the character in question after giving them enough Nectars, usually five or six.

Best Keepsake in Elden Ring

The Golden Seed is the best Keepsake to obtain in the game since it grants you an additional HP/FP flask once you start a new game. On top of increasing your chances of survival, the Golden Seed will immediately be useable at the very first site of grace you rest at.

If you want to go quality go vagabond, Dex go samurai or warrior, strength go Hero. Don't stress over the gift as many others have said none of them matter much because you can get them all in the end and usually very early. However, the two most useful are the golden seed and sword key in that order imo.

They are unlocked by increasing your relationships with the right people, by having conversations with them and giving them Nectar and eventually Ambrosia. The people you need to pay more attention to are Meg, Thanatos, Sisyphus, Skelly and Dusa.

Vagabond (all-rounder): The Vagabond is arguably the best Elden Ring classes for beginners. Melee builds are generally easy to pick up without having to familiarize yourself with loads of in-game systems, making them great for players unaccustomed to FromSoftware gameplay.

If Elden Ring is your first Souls-style RPG, the Vagabond and Astrologer are good starting classes if you're interested in melee or casting, respectively. More experienced players may want to dabble with the interesting starting gear and stats in the Prisoner or Bandit classes.
